The purpose of the Dementia Network is to provide a forum for relevant stakeholders to work together to develop a more coordinated system of care for persons with dementia, their families and caregivers. The networks provide an opportunity for people and resources to come together on local, regional and provincial levels to improve systems of care that include service delivery, education and research. To ensure a more effective voice within the Local Health Integration Network process the North East Dementia Network Coalition was formed. Membership includes: Cochrane District Dementia Network, Dementia Care Network Algoma, Dementia Network of Nipissing District, Sudbury-Manitoulin Dementia Network, Temiskaming Dementia Network, and West Parry Sound Dementia Network.
